Katharine Lightfoot
Exhibitions

Kat Lightfoot has always believed that exhibiting her work is as important as it’s execution. It allows her to show her latest paintings - and meet the people who come to see them. This happy exchange, which saw Kat exhibiting at least twice a year, continued until the start of the first Covid lockdown.

Plans for post-lockdown shows proved problematic, not least finding suitable locations. As a consequence, Kat set about finding her own, permanent exhibition space. The search led her to the beautiful South Devon estuary town of Dartmouth and the opening of The Mew Stone Gallery.

Alongside her latest paintings, Kat can generally be found at The Mew Stone, where she’s always happy to show visitors around and talk about her work.

Kat advises visitors call in advance if they wish to meet her at the gallery.
